Reason #2: Support Literature

Posted on Updated on

The National Endowment for the Arts recently released a study that indicates that the percentage of American adults who read literature – defined in the Washington Post article I read as any novel, short story, play, or poetry – is declining.

I know, panda… It IS sad.

Since you are currently reading this blog post, I would not be surprised to discover that you are amongst the percentage that does read literature, and would like to continue to do so. I could be your next favorite author, an author you quite like, or even an author you don’t hate.

Regardless, if you believe that literature should continue to be produced, you are not wasting your money by supporting a self-published author. Buying any piece of literature supports its continuation. So if the idea of an anthology of short stories with a paranormal and often erotic twist intrigues you, please purchase a copy of Paranormal Dating today. And if my anthology sounds awful, because it does not suit your interests, please purchase another piece of literature today. I want to see new literature being created; don’t you?
